Community Pool

The Community Pool is a dedicated wallet that funds initiatives related to the AVA ecosystem voted on by the community.

Funds from the Community Pool are transferred when a vote successfully reaches a simple majority in favour of a proposal. A minimum quorum of votes must be reached for a proposal to pass.

Contributions

New AVA Supply

20% of the newly minted AVA supply is contributed to the Community Pool every three months in line with the AVA Token Release Schedule.

Travel Tiger NFTs

20% of the value of newly minted Travel Tiger NFTs and 50% of royalties from secondary NFT markets are periodically contributed to the Community Pool.

Voting Weight

Voting weight is determined by the number of AVA tokens and Travel Tiger NFTs held in the connected wallet. Any AVA token holder may vote; a Smart membership is not required.
