Bonus Rewards

AVA Smart Bonus AVA Smart Bonus

All Smart members (excluding Smart Basic) can qualify for the AVA Smart Bonus by completing Contributor Tasks OR spending a minimum of $50 in AVA on Travala every quarter on completed bookings (i.e. travel dates have elapsed in the same quarter as the purchase), Gift Cards, or Travel Credits. The AVA Smart Bonus is a quarterly reward in the AVA token calculated on the amount of your locked AVA in the AVA Smart Program.

Smart memberships must be active by the final day of the previous calendar quarter to be eligible for the AVA Smart Bonus at the start of each new calendar quarter.

The current AVA Smart Bonus rate is 15% for all Smart membership tiers except Diamond, which is 20% per year.

Ambassador
Bonus Ambassador Bonus

Exclusive to Diamond members, the Ambassador Bonus of 150 Travel Credits per quarter can be claimed by completing Contributor Tasks at the beginning of each calendar quarter.

Travel Credits are denominated in USD (i.e. 1 Travel Credit = 1 USD) and can be used to purchase any flight, hotel or activity available on Travala.

Travel Tiger NFTs must be connected to an active Diamond account by the final day of the previous calendar quarter to be eligible for the Ambassador Bonus at the start of each new calendar quarter.

Airdrops Airdrops

Smart members can participate in airdrops of early-stage partner token projects to grow the web3 travel ecosystem. Each airdropped token project will be listed as a payment option on Travala in the future.

Your ability to participate in each airdrop depends on your Smart membership. Some airdrops are exclusive to certain membership tiers, while other airdrops may be open to all Smart members.

To participate in an airdrop, you’ll need to:

(1) have an active Smart membership that is eligible to participate; and

(2) submit your self-custody wallet address on the relevant blockchain network below prior to the snapshot date.

AVA+ Rewards AVA+ Rewards

The AVA+ Rewards perk enables Smart members to lock up to an additional 200,000 AVA via an Ethereum-compatible self-custody wallet and receive up to 7.5% per year in on-chain AVA token rewards on the locked AVA amount.

AVA+ Rewards is offered by the AVA Foundation exclusively to Smart members, with Diamond members receiving early access.

Smart Steel-Platinum members will be able to lock tier-dependent AVA amounts and receive AVA+ Rewards equivalent to 5% of their locked AVA per year, with Smart Diamond members able to lock up to 200,000 AVA and receive 6% by default, with the ability to boost by connecting multiple NFTs.

What are the benefits of becoming a Smart member?

Enjoy discounts and rewards on travel products with a Smart membership. Depending on your Smart tier, you will also gain access to the AVA Smart Bonus and Ambassador Bonus, enabling you to receive rewards in the AVA token and Travel Credits, respectively. Plus, if you pay for your Travala booking in full with AVA, you can get an additional up to 3% discount on your booking. The highest tier of the AVA Smart Program, the Smart Diamond membership, offers upsized travel rewards, quarterly bonuses, airport lounge access, luxury giveaways, and more.

How can I change my giveback reward from AVA to BTC or Travel Credits?

BTC givebacks are only available for Smart Diamond and Platinum members. AVA givebacks are set as the default reward currency. To change to BTC givebacks, Diamond & Platinum members can set BTC givebacks as their preferred reward by navigating to the AVA Smart Program section of their account.

What is the AVA Smart Bonus?

The AVA Smart Bonus enables you to get receive up to 500 AVA tokens each year by completing quarterly Contributor Tasks OR spending AVA on the Travala platform every quarter. How much discount and rewards can I get with the AVA Smart Program?

The AVA Smart Program enables you to receive up to 13% cheaper rates on the listed Travala price when combining the rewards based on your Smart tier, your payment method and the travel product you book.

Can I use the AVA Smart Program and another program at the same time for my booking?

The AVA Smart Program cannot be used in conjunction with any other incentive programs.
